BIDEN: WAR PRESIDENT

In his speech to the nation explaining his decision not to seek re-election, Pres. Biden vaunted that he had presided over an era of peace. He said, “I’m the first president in this

century to report to the American people that the United States is not at war anywhere in the world.”

This is not true. The US has been supplying most of the weapons being used by Israel to pound the Palestinians in Gaza. Ukraine depends heavily on the US in its anti-Russian resistance in a war that never would have happened if NATO had not moved aggressively up to Russian borders and financed anti-Russian movements in Ukraine, and Russia had not grossly and criminally miscalculated its support inside Ukraine.

In addition, the US with its wide military net has been involved in active combat in Yemen, Iraq and Syria, mostly to oppose pro-Iranian groups and help Israel.
